Steve Smith is the inventor of trueCall and a leading expert in call-blocking technology and nuisance call legislation. With over 20 years of experience in the call centre industry, Steve utilised his "inside knowledge" of telemarketing systems to develop and patent a revolutionary way to protect consumers from unwanted and fraudulent calls.

Steve is perhaps best known for his successful appearance on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den, where his business acumen ignited a bidding war between all five Dragons. He eventually secured an investment from telecoms entrepreneur Peter Jones, marking one of the show's most successful pitches.

Steve remains a prominent voice in the media and a dedicated campaigner for consumer rights, working to ensure that technology serves as a shield for those most targeted by scammers and rogue traders.
